Update
We have some information that we were not at liberty to post prior to today. Brian and Harlene were involved in a single vehicle accident on October 7th, our second day on the road, between Corbett Park and Nainital. Brian was transferred to the hospital in Delhi where he is receiving care. We remained with them for three days and at Harlene's urging, continued on. We are in regular contact with her and will see them next week.

So sorry to hear about Brian and Harlene. I hope the health care system there is as good as it is here. It must be so stressful for all of you. Best wishes for a quick recovery.

I will only repeat the travel advice I have heard from fellow travelers to India over the years: If you get sick or injured in India, go to the airport, not the hospital. Here's hoping that we soon read of a recovery, and more good news from the rest of the travelers.
